Performance
The Ram 1500 makes three engines available across its seven trim levels. The base Ram 1500 provides drivers with a standard 3.6-liter V6 engine that makes 305 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. This engine works with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard while all-wheel drive is optional (some trims come standard with all-wheel drive). For those interested in a more powerful engine, there's a 5.7-liter V8 powertrain that makes 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. This engine also works with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The most powerful engine available with the Ram 1500 is available via the TRX trim. The TRX trim is powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine that makes 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. The Rebel and TRX trims are off-road oriented options, providing drivers with a host of increased performance features. The Rebel comes with an upgraded suspension, hill descent control, underbody skid plates, tow hooks, electronic locking rear axles, and a class IV trailer towing hitch. The TRX trim comes with some impressive upgrades like an upgraded engine cooling system, a performance exhaust system, a specialized lifted suspension with adaptive dampers, 35-inch all-terrain tires, upgraded brakes, underbody skidplates, and electronic locking rear differential.



Technology
Easily stay connected while on the go thanks to a variety of different technologies. The base Tradesman trim comes equipped with a solid set of standard essentials, which include a 5-inch touchscreen infotainment display, a 6-speaker audio system, and USB ports. The Laramie trim makes some major improvements, replacing the 5-inch display with an 8.4-inch infotainment display. The Ram 1500 Laramie also comes with satellite radio, a 10-speaker audio system, in-vehicle Wi-Fi functionality, and smartphone connectivity. The Limited trim boasts a 12-inch touchscreen display and a wireless charging pad. The Ram 1500 makes a host of additional tech features available, including a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, a head-up display, and a digital rearview mirror.
Interior Features
The Ram 1500 manages a range of interior features, with options including rugged vinyl upholstery, leather upholstery, and many convenience features. The entry-level Tradesman trim comes with air conditioning, remote keyless entry, power doors, and power locks.
