The new 2025 Ram 1500 RHO is a new performance-oriented truck that's projected to arrive in the third quarter of 2024. It takes the place of the legendary Ram 1500 TRX so it won't offer the same 702-horsepower HEMI® V8 engine. Instead it will have the same platform with a Baja-ready long-travel suspension system as well as the same TRX components and a wide-body look. The front end has been restyled and the luxurious interior will be enhanced.

Consider upgrading to the new RHO Equipment Group package
The 2025 Ram 1500 RHO will come in a single trim level but a very good case can be made for adding the RHO Equipment Group. By making that extra investment you'll get a larger 14.5-inch infotainment screen, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a 360-degree exterior camera, a head-up display, heated and ventilated front seats and a premium stereo system with 19 speakers.
The engine and performance
Every new 2025 Ram 1500 RHO will be equipped with the same twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that's currently powering the Jeep Wagoneer. That engine generates 540 horsepower and it's coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission plus four-wheel drive. The new 2025 RHO will also give you Bilstein Blackhawk adaptive shock absorbers along with a specially-tuned air spring suspension system that gives the rear axle as much as 14 inches of travel.
Ground clearance is the highest among all Ram 1500 trucks, coming in at 11.8 inches with the help of a suspension lift and 35-inch all-terrain tires. The 2025 Ram 1500 RHO will include forged aluminum front control arms and a set of 18-inch beadlock-capable wheels. Performance still hits the 60-mph mark in 4.6 seconds and this truck can get to the quarter-mile in an impressive 13.1 seconds.
Towing and payload
The completely new 2025 Ram 1500 RHO will have a maximum towing capacity of 8,380 pounds, so it's capable of pulling a sizable speedboat or a hefty trailer. The maximum payload in the new RHO is 1520 pounds.
Interior highlights
The interior is where the Ram 1500 really shines and sets a high bar for all other full-size pickups. The performance-oriented RHO model reflects the same luxury standard in a crew cab with a short cargo bed. Leather and suede upholstery are standard features and you can get interior upgrades like carbon fiber accents and upholstered dash panels. For an even loftier form of luxury, massaging front seats are included as part of the RHO Equipment Group package.
Technology
The 2025 Ram 1500 RHO will include some of the same advanced technology as other parts of the Ram 1500 pickup lineup. That includes technology like a newly available 14.5-inch vertically-oriented touch screen with Uconnect® 5 software, and that display is an available upgrade from the standard 12.0-inch screen. A 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster is a standard tech feature and a 10.3-inch touchscreen is available for the front-seat passenger.
